Johnny stalking a sorority house is giving me Black Christmas vibes, which is another slasher movie that came out in 1974, the same year as the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I wonder if this game mode is an homage to that. Like the devs making a joke that Johnny is secretly the killer from Black Christmas lol

I have not played Texas chainsaw much, got off gamepass and I was like, okay... but now, I'll definitely buy it for this rush week, 1v6 mode!

I could see them changing the bonescrap cosmetic to something like knives but also limiting the amount and effectiveness

Tho I do wonder if it will be like my idea of a game mode where there's npc you need to rescue in some way, I don't imagine it's just 1v6 with nothing new like being able to defend yourself in a new way with new objectives
